Here's a Sneak Peek...

Also glassing up boards for the fish fry and Noosa...

Somehow life always seems to get super busy whenever board finishing deadlines approach!
Getting ready for Aus in two weeks time is no exception.

Old skool cool...

Glassing a couple of old school skate decks.

These two decks are looking rad. The resin colours are totally popping.

The skate decks are a great small size tester for ideas and techniques that I'm considering applying to a surfboard.

We're GREEN

Our boards are eco friendly...

It's the core value of our business.

We've even spelt it out in black and white.

Logo's

I have drawn up a batch of logo's for the latest boards.

Here's a couple on a solid balsa fish.

Heading South

We're moving south for the winter...way on down to the Catlins

Where the trees grow sideways...

And the rocks look like an old man squinting.

I'll have a workshop space four times the size of my current one.
Here's hoping the glue dries and the resin kicks in the cold.

Alley Fish Fry

After heading over to the wooden board day in august, we wont be missing the fish fry.
Got a few tasty fishes cooking up especially.
Sweet boards, good dudes, warm water and good waves... what's not to like about this day!

Do it on your knees...

If you can get your hands on something different to surf its well worth it for variety, fun and the challenge of somethin new.

A long time ago Sean sent me this kneeboard to surf, and build him another. Well, I spent far too long surfing it and want my own. So now there's two rad kneeboard blanks just about to be glued up... a little late but better than never!

Steel and grinders..

Steel and grinders = good fun

Why buy equipment you can build yourself aye?!
New Profiler under construction...will be profiling blanks by friday.

Just back from a short summer family holiday and I've got a stack of boards under construction with heaps of photos to post, so keep checking back as we're now gettin busy!

Retro Cruiser and Striped Pintail

Benji won the raffle we held to raise funds for the Samoan Red Cross. He decided to go for this retro cruiser as a pressie for his brother in the States. It'll in the post on tuesday Benji...

I also built this striped pintail alongside it. Both boards are built from totally recycled timber, some of it from a demolished mental hospital..crazy.
